i just graduated as a chemical enginneer and remember how my petrochemical experienced proffesor scrutinized the concept everytime. My favorite project was about hydrogen production, but this one is just blowing my mind. This makes my skin shiver, because of it truth and the cruelty of heavy big money bastards who care about profits and not about scientific endavours. thank you tyrannyofsoulz, you have done a great public service to which i am very greatful.

I've seen these million dollar experiments of hot fusion, which only gave about 40% of the input power back. It is a shame that we waste so much money. Bring down the oil companies, cold fusion here we come.

What are we waiting for!? ... why after 18 years do they not have one self-sustaining device? the guy at 4:30 has 35 excess degrees for multiple weeks... the guy at 5:08 "appears" to be "very close" to a self-sustaining device. If it's possible, they should just do it and then the proof is in the pudding. screw the scientific debate.

Logical fallacies, wishful thinking, and conspiracy theories abound! Cold fusion fixes all of our energy problems, every reputable university in the US is conspiring against it, and dozens of eminent scientists are engaging in scientific dishonesty! It must be true 'cause other discoveries were thought wrong before proven right! We have fancy lab equipment!
Wake me up when they properly describe the effect and make something that's consistently reproducible; till then, this isn't science.

Dude you seriously need to go back to school. A good school teaches you how to think, not what to think. Experiments validate (or not) concepts and theory. Nuclear reactions are well understood both theoretically and experimintelly. Antimatter replacement of electron shell may allow "Cold Fusion" aprox 7000 degrees. Antimatter is kinda expensive

I think a combination of alternative energy concepts, rather than one BIG idea is probably the way to go. Geo-thermal in one area for a specific need, hydro-electric in another, wind, etc.
