My theory is that the Matrix along with the calm mind for leadership it also gave him a huge conciseness. So when he through it away he could fight as needed without anything getting in his way. That's just my theory though so I mostlikely wrong.

I don't see it as much as them breathing as mush as them trying to cool their internals. If you were a big robotic entity and had just gone through that round of the fight you would probably be over heating to you know.

Eh, for me G1 homages don't make a TF series. What makes a TF show for me are good characters and good storylines, both of which Armada has. Honestly non of the TF tv shows have really impressed me other than Armada and Beast Machines.

Ya I think Energon was a lame sequel to Armada. As for Animated, eh, it has it's good and bad, but overall bad. My Problems with Animated are: it's just to kiddy, to many extreme personalities, and too much of a Liberal slant to the show. I don't really like the way TFAnimated looks, but I'm not gonna judge the show on that; and Animated does too may G1 homages.

No not that much at all, it was just your 80's cartoon, crapy. G1 had no real story it was just like a new world every episode, and the personalities were just lame, and there was no drama or anything. I'm probably gonna be hated for saying this, but I think season 3 of G1 was way better than 1
2, but still it was pretty lame.
