He's my cousin He moved to Italy with Brother Darren. Darren formed DoggyBag, they were to get signed in Germany, but decided to come to America. TTD (Terry we call him) changed his name to Sunanda Maitreya I believe that's how it's spelled He doesn't perform those songs anymore and has a big following through europe... hope that answered your question... Oh and there was someone who called him a transvestite... don't say that to his face, he was Golden Gloves champion in the state of Florida

Thanks for the info. Now I'm curious as to why he would move and change his name just as his career was starting to take off here? I still hear "Sign My Name" occasionally on the radio. I always throught he had a spectacular voice and was hoping to hear more from him. And, I don't know anything about him being a transvestite, so even if I did ever meet him, that subject wouldn't come up. Thanks again.

I heard this song over and over years ago. And the music store I worked at, on MTV, on the radio. Watching it now I have to say Mr. D'Arby had some real talent. He had moves and soul and a good voice. Even if a lot of the moves are straight from Bob Fosse and James Brown.
