I was sorry to see Admiral Bill Fallon "resign" -- and when he did, I wondered who would take his place. I just thought it might be Petraeus since he appears to be in total lockstep with the Bush Administration's neo-con agenda & goals. Fallon, of course, was adamantly opposed to any plans for an invasion of Iran. I don't know Petraeus's personal and professional position on that score, but he doesn't seem to exhibit any potential opposition to anything the Administration promotes. Anyone know?
