Yes the English can be very proud. They are the only nation in the world who aren't fluent in a single language...quite an accomplishment! They graduate high school illiterate and thereafter their biggest single desire is the dole. They walk into shops in Spain saying to their friends "I have been coming here for 10 years you would have thought they (the Spanish) would have learned to speak English by now!" This level of ignorance is spectacular!
