I mean I could say the same for rock. A lot of rock now a days sounds generic, and the subject matter is crap. But hey, THATS COMMERCIAL ROCK. There's plenty of good rock out there, but you don't see me critisizing rock, and that's because I DONT LISTEN TO ROCK. So therefore I'm in no place to talk shit about it. Same for you. k i agree with u, there is most definitly some pretty shitty rock bands out there, jonice brothers, simple plan, fall out boy etc. But i do also listen to some rap, and i fear that the hole music industry is going down the crapper. Metallica's new album is AWSOME, but still like u said, there is a lot of commercial rock out there. In the end i guess it all comes down to taste.

It is. A lot of commercial rap artists out there now are killing hip hop. But the underground is where real music thrives. It's all about taste. We're lucky we have bands like metallica out there keepin rock alive.
