I've had a mixed experience with Chrome, on the whole, it has been positive, it reminds me of Firefox 2 beta. As the Internet is the future (Bill Gates didn't see that, did he?) Google needs to be in control, the Chrome browser is a great way of achieving this.

Fast JavaScript and HTML 5.0, now there's a 'killer' combination. I also would suggest a web browser that is expandable (growable?). We can add components much like COM objects in that is persistent or semi persistent on the client machine. Very much like Java applet cache. Many websites that share the same features (like blog engines, application frameworks) would be able to use the same components without the need to download them separately.

you can chose any browser as your standard browser.. and belive me, they will all help you to do so :) (there is usually an alert telling you if a browers is not standard)
