Emo actually stands for emotive hardcore - hence it originally only means a genre of music. If it was to stand for emotional, it would become to encompassing. Leona Lewis and her freaking 'bleeding love' song would be emo then. I mean thats emotional right? So My Chemical Romance are NOT an Emo band. Because they do not sound like Rites Of Spring etc real emotive hardcore bands.
