| This one's worse everytime I see it. Geoffry Bodine, OUCH!!! And did if you look there are a few guys, I'm thinking security, that are facing the other way. Does anyone know how many spectators/security got hurt too? |

| Yeah I remember a guy got 2nd degree burns on his back and two other people got minor burns...Also two things about this 1. This was the first truck race @ Daytona & this wreck happened on Feb 18th, 2000 |

| I wonder if they came back. I probably would so they probably did too. There haven't been very many wrecks that have been this bad and involving spectators at the same time. |

| Geoffry Bodine only broke his wrist, which is amazing. I was watching this when it happened and I thought for sure he was dead. Then he waved to the crowd. They only kept him over night because they couldn't believe there wasn't more wrong with him. |

| Um.... Geoff had some pretty serious head injuries, too. He broke his wrist, his back, his ankle and had a concussion. He took months to recover and actually eluded to having a conversation with his dead father during his unconscious period after the crash and this crash changed his life toward religion and family. So yeah, there really was "more wrong with him." |
