The Slavic people were the first slaves, or the first to be labeled as a "slave race" ,atleast, so this title of very misleading.
Africans did sell each other, but its not that cut and dry. Africans didn't see each other as the same just because they shared Brown/Black skin color.

About Africans started slavery! which slavery is this idiot talking about! Slavery was going on in Europe,England,the Far and Middle East way before the trans atlantic slave trade began. Yes in Africa slavery was in existence,but it was in the form of inter-tribal wars,and dominance,like the Norse people of Scandanavia,and the Romans,in Israel,even in England slavery was in existence,amongst their people,so how can he say slavery,was started by the Africans!

Most of the slaves in the trans-atlantic slave trade WERE STOLEN,only a small percentage of Africans,actively traded first hand with the Europeans,and those that did,traded those of a different tribal background as theirs,in most cases,a waring tribe.
