oh my goodness;
1) killing someone is not going to solve a problem no matter what. violence is nothing but ignorance.
2) lennon was an intellectual who could've saved the world if given a chance.
3) you totally missed the point of "catcher in the rye". go read the damn book again.

Give Peace a Chance is good. This site has been watched by 1,566,778. Visit youtube's video "Eve of Destruction by Barry McGuire? sung with much emotion about the Vietnam war. Yet he at best only has 187,746 hits at the time of my viewing. Words are marvelous, in my view far better than that of John Lennon on this occasion. Or is it simply the chant you like about lennon's song "ALL WE ARE SAYING IS GIVE PEACE A CHANCE. Take 5 and listen to "Eve of Destruction".

The Beatles were the musical foundation for all music that followed. They were a musical phenomenon! I'm so pleased that I lived in the Beatles time. Nothing in my life has moved me as they have, and with such force. I never thought I could love four strangers so much! Everytime I hear their music I'm transported back in time . . . and what a magnificent and legendary time it was. Their songs will be on my lips, in my mind, and in my heart until the day I die.
