| Robert would've lived a lot longer if he hadn't been so friggin gay! Him and Freddie from Queen just had to keep it buried in their backyards. Lots of great artists definitely chose the wrong hole! Palmer give us some reprieve from having a steady diet of limp disco. Got that was a bad time but still better than now! |

| He was the lead singer. They only did one album together, and then did a tour. Palmer did not tour with the group, though, as he went to work on his own solo career (Addicted To Love, etc.). The Power Station replaced Palmer with a guy named Micheal Des Barres for their tour, which included an appearance at Live Aid. |

| If u were a teenager in the 1980's bands like this made adult life seem very glamourous. At that age u rarely think of the present, u are always reminded of the future. "Dont fail these exams or you've had it", etc. Seeing people in their 20's (from bands like Duran, Spandau, etc) and watching their spin-off projects like this, made the adult world seem exciting. 1980's bands all lived a Miami Vice lifestyle. The reality of adult life was never quite so glamourous as I discovered later. |
