well Petrucci and the drummer did a great job ... and LaBrie wasnt that bad - just isnt his style of singing so its normal for him to exprience dificulties when singing this :)

i really like dream theater and of course pink floyd...they did a great job, but labrie's voice doesn't really fit to this song...he's quite good, but the feeling of gilmour isn't there ;)

My second favourite band covering my first favourite band: Incredible!!! I'm a super Pink Floyd nut, so I'm often very critical when people cover my favourite band, but Dream Theater is amazing also. If I could give a teeny bit of criticism, James LaBrie should learn to catch that English accent. I've heard Pink Floyd sing it so much that when an American does it, it sounds a bit strange. :D Anyway, Dream Theater is the future of Pink Floyd.

Everyone keeps complaining about James LaBrie's vocals... let me tell you, in my opinion, he's the best man for Dream Theater. He's way better than Dominici, and is incredible on early Dream Theater. He might not sound as good on later records because of a vocal cord problem he had from food poisoning. Anyway, now they should cover Echoes. I think LaBrie's voice would be good for Echoes. :)
