i don't know the meaning of this particular song, but originally gregorian style was a choir singing style, with only men singing it. and the trick was, that all of them always sang the same melody, and it was religious. So actually this song is pretty far away from gregorian style :D but it's still a beautiful piece of music. :)

and also, a very important thing was, that there was no instruments used. that was because of priests & reverends, who thought that because you can't say any words with instruments, those are forbidden. maybe they thought that for example a guitar was made by satan or something :D
