only one way to fix it format ur hard-drive tho if u do u will lose everything on ur hard-drive when u reformat reset to factory defaults everything should be fine unless its the disc itself

there could be 2 reasons y its freezing 1 your tv needs to be updated or that the gta 4 is such a massive game rockstar cant all the bugs in the game

Same here I have just got a 80 gb ps3 with GTA and it works fine. I think it is becuase you mite be treating the disc poorly.

There's no need to worry (just about the money) If you PS3 reads other games, it's not a Blu-Ray problem, so, it's not the worse thing. You should ask the store to test the game before you buy it (If they do that).

i think it's the cheats, my ps3 was fine when i used that one cheat, the weather changing cheat, then all my games started freezing, when i play them for like 10 minutes they freeze. I think it's gta4
