Video Description:
A very specific song of "Innuendo", the last album of Queen released before Freddie Mercury's death. Delilah was the name of Mercury's beloved cat. The song features Queen members... meowing! When Roger Taylor had first heard about the idea of the song, he hated it, but considering Freddie's deteriorating health and the fact that it might have been one of his last wishes - he agreed to do the song.
I wonder what happened to Delilah, is she still alive? What happened to her after Freddie passed away? Did she miss her owner as much as thousands of people do...? During the first part of the song you can see the picture of Delilah herself. The second cat is my own one, who is the joy & happiness of my sad life :)

For some reason this song makes me crack up! "MEOW"-Just in case anybody wasn't sure that he wrote it about his cat. I think the fact that he wrote a song about his cat is very sweet =D But I think he didn't mean for people to take this song too seriously

Yeah, I was just going to mention "All Dead, All Dead". What's really interesting is how different both songs are. "All Dead, All Dead" is May basically reminiscing on his long-gone childhood cat (and the "my little friend" line gets me every time) while "Delilah" is Freddie celebrating a cat who would outlive him.

Cute cat. I had to have my cat put to sleep recently. She was very old and ill. I miss her, she was such a sweet and adorable cat. I've always been able to really relate to this song, as I suppose most cat owners and fans can. Love it, thanks.
