it's not about whether or not we should or shouldn't help them because of a government body's pride and denial of assistance. Because it's about helping the PEOPLE. And truth is, they need as much as they can get. So I feel we should be finding ways to work around the myanmmar government and bring aid directly to the people. Humanitarianism aside, it's about bringing realistic and successful action plans in helps of a idealistically-repressed community.

If the Myanmar government won't take international aid, just hand the pilots of the relief planes a new flight plan - to Schezwan Province in China, to help the earthquake victims! At some point the military leaders of Myanmar will need to be brought to justice for allowing thousands of their own people to die by neglect. But in the meantime, don't let the supplies rot on the airplanes and loading docks - send it to where it will be used and appreciated. I.
