hmm.....i never said I "slipped" into fantasy, because simply calling the books fantasy isn't fair. As far as the mythology ontake goes, I'm not so sure about that, but hey, your opinion I suppose.

JK Rowling is the author - it's her book and her own story. If she wants to make Dumbledore, one of her characters, gay - fair enough. It's not really the Dumbledore actor that the audience is going to judge in the end, but JK Rowling. Since it was the author saying it herself, claiming that he was gay - we just have to accept it then.
