No, there are no ubers in this vid. It's basically just some gameplay from my new throw barb, Median_Tranx. As you can tell from the name, I made a new barb to pick up both the level challenge and 1k charms. Now, I still need to work on getting him acceptable equipment.
This is being played on Median 2008, a Diablo 2 mod by Brother Laz, on /players 1, Destruction, as of version 1.54. http://modsbylaz.planetdiablo.gamespy.com/

Like I said on the other comment, Median 2008 is a Diablo 2 mod created by Brother Laz which changes may things for a fun single player experience. A good change from regular LoD, which got boring for me. You can see the webpage in the description box for more info.

This mod is actually best played solo. However, if you want to play with others go to the forum and check out the Madhouse section for multiplayer, mostly through Hamachi. Just watch out for people offering you items such as hacked exp charms and duped items, because they are evil. Single player will give you the best experience though. Have fun!

Ha, well first off my build may be outdated and there are probably other guides you can use (if you wish to use a guide rather than just making it up as you go along). If you look through the "Guides" on the forums I know there is some kind of cobra barb that could be useful. Mine is more physically based and I think is pretty similar to his, but I use Wolf rather than Snake stance. Good luck.

Take a look at the level challenge .pdf's that came with the documentation with the mod, and I think it should give you a pretty good description on what you'll need to do. There's nothing you need to do specifically to start it, just make sure you keep an eye on your character level, because some have different maximum levels.
If you need help with some stategy, my best advice is to ask in the forum. Good luck!

You are correct; this is not a hack, it is a mod, or a legitimate modification of the game. A hack gives a player an unfair advantage, while a mod(ification) is a re-vamped gaming experience that comes with its own challenges and gameplay.

After you download and set it up (read the README that comes with the mod, and it should tell you how to do it) you will need to create a new character to play with this mod, because of all the different changes. Playing with a regular vanilla Diablo character may corrupt that character and make it unplayable.

No problem, not an annoyance. All of the links on the download poage should be the same file (something like 1[point]57b or whatever), they are just different mirrors. They are all for the expansion pack.

One of the ways is the Death Projector. Take a look at the uberquest .pdf file, and you can read up about it. I also have a vid here with some possible tips on that uberquest. Anyways, that is mainly for when you want to get levels so you can go to the next difficulty or once you are done the game but may not be 120 yet (kind of like a Baal game, another option here).
Earlier on, you shouldn't have to worry about leveling. It happens quickly, and just get through the game. Good luck!

Hey, this was version 1.54 of the mod, so the trees were probably a little different before Laz moved some skills around/replaced some skills. The stance I have up is probably Wolf Stance; it may have gotten a new skill icon, but it's the one I main used for this barb.

I only started playing Median and I'm quite a newbie; I'm about to start a new throwing barb so can I ask you a few things pls?
1) What's the skill called which summons those barb-like dudes?
2) How are the skills called you use when you're doing your axe-throwing thingie?

HOW THE HELL can you keep casting spells while being hit? i try to kill yhe amazons on that uber quest but their arrows lock me in place till i die.......
