Great music, but since its videotapes on a ordinary camera, the sound quality is not as good as the other input in Youtube with same song.
They play too fast. Some mistakes can be heard more clearer. But what bothers me the most... 5.36: At the beautiful solo; ANOTHER F****** MORON COUGHS THERE AS WELL! I hate it! In both versions of this song, there is always some moron who has to cough just there!

Sorry guys, but this was a very poor performance compared to other Play! venues (especially Stockholm). The pace was irregular and way too fast at times. The conductor wasn't in control of his orchestra. That guest drummer played despeartly too loud and killed Time's Scar. And listen to the piccolo goofing at the begginning of Time's Scar, very funny !!! I was there, by the way. A very good concert overall, except for this part.

I wouldn't hold my breath for a cd release. They will try to make all the money they can off the tours way before it gets released. A dvd would be great.

He played way too loud (probably fortissimo where he was supposed to play mezzo piano), which covered the delicate sound of the violins and destroyed the overall balance. We should blame the conductor as well, as he could have made him play normally, but didn't.

You don't have to be a professional musician to notice the mistakes in tempo and volume. In fact, as fantasyboy007 said, you can just compare this play with the one held in Stockholm and the difference will be obvious. Stockholm had it's mistakes too but they were much more subtle.

Obviously, but it would not be the same. What was great at Play! was watching the video while listening to the music. The Shenmue clip, combined to the music of the orchestra, was simply an incredible experience.

True. But as nath said... CT/CC has one of the best soundtracks ever. Better than most FFs. It's probably the only thing making CC a passable rpg

I you want to listen to the best performance for CT/CC at Play!, you should listen to the Stockholm venue, which was close to perfection in quality of music. The flutist's performance was simple breathtaking. The overall difference with Toronto is very obvious.

I attended the one in Chicago, honestly that was probably the best one of all. (world premiere probably had something to do with it, heh)
