Neil is superb - but get a load of that audience! It's like "Hey kids, make sure you don't move a muscle while the guy sings." Either that or they slipped them all Mandrax in their Kool Aid! It looks scary to see Neil there, doing his thang, really into it, and this totally non-responsive audience about three inches from you. Does anyone else get that? I saw an early clip of Mike Nesmith in a similar guy-sat-on-stool-with-microphone-and-optional-guitar setting. Frightening.

real jam man i'm sittin' here yawning! neil has his moments but deep purple brought his music to new heights. listen to river deep mountain high by deep purple with an open mind and see what you think. say what you will but deep purple did a very repsectable cover of both songs.
