| I replaced the heads with mesh heads, you can see how to do it in stratocaster539's. The instruction booklet you get with the kit shows you how to assign different sounds to different pads, it's simple. |

| The midi output is fine, I discovered after making this video. So you can use it with whatever midi interface. |

| They get power from a socket, like any electrical appliance. All the pads are plugged into a drum brain which the sounds come out of (headphones or line out). You record with a laptop or any device that can record line in. |

| No I have not tried the MKII version, so I don't know the differences. All it cost me was the price of new mesh heads, which were about nine euro each. |
