Man, I'm confused, but not in the way some others are. The way she's doing it--that's how I was taught when I was her age in the mid-90s. It never occurred to me that there was any other way. And that first method she was bringing up does seem ridiculous.

My Mom used to have to whip me until I wanted to read hahaha Me and my brother and sisters use to have to do these big books full of reading and math work from 1PM to 3PM...I would always fall asleep or say I have to use the bathroom and never come out ahaha. Lol, Goodtimes! =)
