what do they call this style of playing? i mean, besides awesome XD
cause i know this one guy who plays loik that with the "tapping the body of the guitar" and the "cool tone tapping" i was just wondering if that was a spesific stlyle... btw THAT WAS SCHWEEET, and i know this is getting complements from everyone, but this is truly amazing XD

No, I don't think it's called "slap guitar", as slap guitar is mainly for funk, and it's when you pull the string up away from the body and let go, instead of strumming it to produce sound; giving it a different tone and I believe that's called popping. Percussive hits are just called... well, percussion.

yeh i think it is, coz he kinda hammers it (hits the strings) and he claws it (fingerstyling). ofc it aint original clawhammer which derived from folk :)
