The orange " tunnel" was the a path that led up to a temple that was the turning point in the movie for Chiyo. The tunnel is the major path leading up to the shrine itself. On the dvd it explains it when they make their trip to Japan to scout for perfect places to shoot the movie that had not been changed much since the 1920's and early 30's

actually I know the music and listened to them on DVD for 1 millions times but it makes me speechless evrythime again.....the geisha is awesome but the music..................................................................is more awesome than anything else. I love it. 5 stars of course If there would be more...1 million

ich finde der film is einfach genial ! *_* als ich ihn auf pro7 sah ...war ich hin un weg ....die musik die schauspieler alles passte ...am ende hab ich sogar geweint ...( was ich eig nie macche bei filmen xD ) ich will mir unbedingt die dvd kaufn ...ICH LIEBE DIeSEN FILM!!! i loved the movie like no other before, i had expected it for so long, i read the book before, but i never imagined the music would be so beautiful, it;s so beautiful, it reflects what there truly is in Sayuri's song, this novel changed my point of view so much, i thought about naming my future kid Sayuri, waay in the future, don't even know if i want to become a parent... i'm only 16! haha.. this is so beautiful, thanks for the upload!
