Well, it's here. A new, better HUNK neck dance. Y'all can see it now? I've taken the liberty to tighten the rules a little bit to have a heavier emphasis on the actual neck breaking and get rid of the flame breather rule (3b in the old rules I believe) since it bothered me as well as others: -1-
You may not use Grenades to kill Ganados -2- The TMP must be aimed at the head with the intent to get Neck Breakers -3- Any opponent must be killed with a Neck Breaker. Those are the "true" neck breakers in your ballet. -4- Allowed exceptions are: (a) Critical head shots (they happen) and grabs, (b
) Plagas (hopefully you won't get any) and (c) splash kills from dynamite sticks (obviously, if you want a huge combo, you'll want to maximise splash kills). While helping the combo, they don't count as true neck breakers since you don't actually snap these enemies' necks. -5- Try to get a huge comb
o count with as many true neck breakers as possible. Furthermore, do not compare PlayStation 2 runs to Gamecube runs - they differ enough to warrant separate categories. Not counting dynamite/grab kills, plagas and critical head shots, this run features 76 true neck breakers - which is 11 more th
an the previous run. There's still room for improvement, but it's definitely a step up and for some reason, I like this run. HUNK gets straight "to business" and picks up Time Extends on the fly rather than collect them before anything. There are also quite a few techniques on show which help keep t
he combo alive. On the downside, I was forced to swallow 3 hits due to Ganados starting their attacks at the right moment, not giving me a sensible out to their damage-dealing moves. It happens, but I'd rather not get hit. The second grab from the dynamiter near the end could have been avoided, but
I was getting nervous. One tip: don't look at the combo-meter until the run is over, or the adrenaline oozing through your brain will make you do stupid things :). There's a very good chance that I'll try to optimise this run. After watching the vid, I'm sure that with a nice helping of luck, a 95
combo or higher can roll out. Of course, I want a 100 :) so I'll have to get lucky with the dynamiters. We'll see how it goes. For now, enjoy this one. Oh yeah, if you're wondering why I scored less points than in the previous video, that's because I didn't use a Bonus Time at the start of the com
bo. The final score isn't a priority in this kind of run, though :).
