This video is from an era that there were still artists who could be sexy without taking of all their clothes, would become famous because they could sing (not because they were loaded) and sang songs with innoncent timeless themes like falling in love. No, actually wikipedia says Martika is from Whittier, CA (b. 5/18/69). The town was the epicenter of a moderate earthquake on 10/1/87--THE START OF THE FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR. Is it possible that the "TOY SOLDIERS" singer's birthplace, coupled with the date 10/1/87, links to "time rollback" themes and who should be "recycled" and all based on work ethic lies that would emerge a decade after "More Than You Know" was a hit?
