The united states blew up the only nuclear processing plant iraq had in 1993.COMPLETELY DESTROYED IT. Even iraq nuclear scientists admitted that ALL nuclear possibility ended on that day and our government was well aware of that. Are you aware of the thousands of translated documents and discoveries after the invasion that clearly show Saddam had the ability and intent immediately create chemical and evidently nuclear weapons inside Iraq once sanctions were removed. Sure Translated documents CMPC-20030016083 and ISGQ 2004-00220151 detail clandestine purchase of chemical warfare equipment as well as increasing chemical warfare exercises by the Iraqi military from 1999 unill the invasion. Charles Duelfer section of the Iraq survey group clearly points out what I stated earlier that Saddam was creating the chemical precursors to chemical weapons and had hundreds of tones in hidden stockpiles found by coalition troops.

Also I am not sure where I said they found stockpiles of ready made weapons. I mean i understand why you would want me to say that so you feel smart. It is very clear now that Iraq was assembling their program for immediate restart after sanctions were lifted. Immediate meaning a matter of weeks to months. We know that they were testing biological weapons on prisons in 2003.

Iraq had biological and chemical weapons when they gassed the kurds.The us had video of their deaths from the mid 80s that they used in 2003 (not mentioning that the video was 15 years old) to make us believe that we needed to save the iraqi people and make them 'free" after the WMDs werent found. you can rewrite history all you want. but NUCLEAR wmds were the reason we went in. and when they werent found, it was changed to "we need to save the iraqis!"

The united states never sold Iraq chemical weapons. Iraq made chemical weapons from pesticides sold to them by the French Russians Spanish and Americans. The united states and United Nations was concerned that he was reconstituting his weapons programs to rebuild the stocks he had destroyed in the 1990s by orders of the UN. It turns out there were right in every way but he never had the finished product. I am starting to think that you are very uninformed.

The USA sold provided about 2% of aggregate Iraqi conventional weapons. This is why we fought French and Russian equipment in both Iraq wars. The Americans did provide Intel on Iranian troop movements up until about 1985. They didn't lie, both David Kay and Charles Delfuer of the Iraq Survey Group and former UN weapons inspectors declare that the in intel on iraq was wrong, just like it was wrong about Iran and Lybia at the time.

Sickening. I voted against W in both elections. Can you imagine if Gore would have won?? 1) We would have never attacked Iraq. 2) He would have implemented strong CAFRA standards, reducing our dependance on oil and strengthening the big 3s abilities to compete globally (W gave 100% writeoffs his first year for companies that bought big pickups and SUVs), 3) Katrina might have been dealt with sometime in the first week, I've got another 20 examples, but I'm outta space.
