It's a quick death. That's the point. Lethal injection may take longer as veins are often difficult to find. Still, they had to surround him and then pin him to the ground and he was STILL STRUGGLING. If he cooperated, nothing would have happened and he was only tazed once which was within the parameters of FL statute law. He also wrote an apology in the FL Alligator to the campus police and ADMITTED that they did NOTHING wrong. He apologized to the student body as well.

if anyone is severely punished for merely breaking the rules and not hurting anyone, than something is horribly wrong. Tasing should be illegal. Now.

He was VIOLATING the rules. He shoved people aside, grabbed the microphone without permission, asked questions outside of Q
A and used profanity. Those are 4 RULES, that he broke. The police came to escort him away and he ran away from them and yelled and made a huge scene. They finally pinned him down and he continued to struggle, so he was tased ONLY ONCE. That is FL statute law. Now if you disagree w/it, then go get the law changed in FL. The police complied w/ the law. Meyers didn't.

I should add that he was arrested for disturbing the peace and yes, he was trespassing. He posted a letter in the FL Alligator, where he ADMITTED that the police did nothing wrong and apologized to the police and the student body for his obnoxious and unlawful behavior. Meyers proudly proclaimed that he loves going to ball games to harrass and insult professional athletes. The guy is a big jerk and so many idiots fell for his juvenile antics. What a joke!

A and used profanity. That's why the police intervened. If you violate the rules of a place, the host has the right to throw you out. It's called PROPERTY RIGHTS. He violated the rules and BROKE THE LAW. The police had the right to restrain him and if tasing was necessary, so be it.

Wrong. John Kerry didn't point to Andrew Meyers. Meyers shoved people aside and got to the mike. Why didn't police restrain him? That is what they went in to do. His mike was cut off and he was to be escorted away, but he decided to run away from them and make a huge scene.

And no where in the interview or anywhere does it say that he pushed people out of the way to get in front. They let him ask his questions not because he forced his way to the front. If he had to, then good. He should have been disciplined for his immoral behavior at that town hall meeting. He was rude, obnoxious, arrogant and immature. It's called growing up. This kid proudly admitted that he likes to go to ball games to insult and harass the professional athletes. Hopefully he matured from being disciplined and put on probation for 18 months. He also admitted that the police did nothing wrong when he was in the car w/them on the way to the station. Go figure.

Mr. Keith Olbermann, the kid needs to grow up. He violated the rules of the forum, committed trespassing and disturbed the peace. That's why the police intervened. He refused to comply with arrest so they had no choice but to tase him and did so only once per FL statue law. He later admitted that the police did no wrong and his behavior was inappropriate and immoral. You also need to grow up to respect the rules of property and to show courtesy toward others including dissenters.
