no the fall timer and death barrier apply to both AI and the player...they died either by fall or death barrier or both

the Juggarnaut was going to be in Halo 2 but Bungie scrapped it from gameplay, the code is still in the game which is why mods can have it spawn in the levels where it was going to show up, you cant kill them because Bungie never got around to making the code for the Juggarnauts' death, so even though you can have it fall off a cliff, they still dont die, basically they have god mode on. lol...
