So I decided to do something special for my fifth 'This is Goa' installment. What we've got here is a true classic in the genre of Goa trance: 'Spiritual Healing' by The Muses Rapt. This is and always will be one of my favorite tracks for several reasons. One, it sounds great. It shows how Goa is not limited to one sound. Two, there is an interesting story behind this track.
From Juan Verdera's (The Muses Rapt) entry in Wikipedia ------------------- Next stage that made a great change in his life was when he discovered that he had a cancer and he should go through intensive course of chemotherapy. During this time Juan found for himself peace and relief in trance musi
c. After one of the treatment sessions Juan arrived to his studio and under the influence of inspiration that came to him he wrote his famous track "Spiritual Healing". After this single was released Juan started to recover and is in better health these days. ------------------- So there's a neat l
ittle fact for ya. The final reason as to why this track is one of my favorites is because it has most definitely kept the Goa/Psy scene on its toes. It has influenced many and will go down in history as one of the greatest Goa tracks of all time. I think I'll do something like this every 5 videos
. So keep a look out. ;)

Hey inverse4 sumhow i accidently gave you a thumbs down, was meant to reduce it too 4. Im not sure why you were given 5 thumbs down, maybe the mention of the word "love" a little much in one paragraph. Either way you have a valid point but i aint getting all religious oh no,, im merely just experiencing the same journey as everyone else , from the same energy source The one which is everything expressing itself slightly different each time.

I had heard this track (just a portion of it) 11 years ago just ONCE and one week after that I tape it on one of mine cassetes(what were cassetes?):). I accidentaly run on it yesterday.I didn't know name of song.I lost that cassete but melody somehow was written in my mind. I suppose that it's because this track is good.

There is such a culture here in the U.S. I've experienced it in Mississippi and New Orleans where I'm from. Best words to describe, would be, utterly different culture but part of us. Their outlook is purely spiritily idolatrous. I've tasted and known and doesn't come close to pure happiness.

From a christian standpoint and definitive theology, idolatry can be defined as anything you put before God. I hate to say worship, in better words, what is your primary focus. And alot of people I've met make the entire music entertainment there number one focus.
