ng. Whether it's fast cars, free time, vacations, building your 401k, sex, attention, love, respect, image... you will worship something. You can probably tell what it is by looking at where you spend your time and your money. We sing about worshiping everywhere because the word "worship" tends to
be squeezed into the confines of the walls of the church. But "true worship" according to John 4 is in "spirit and in truth." We worship God not just when we sing, but when we overcome our own selfish desires and replace them with the desires of God. When we choose to love and pray for our enemies i
nstead of bash them behind their backs, when we trust in God's sovereignty and timing even though we've applied to 40 jobs, when we are wise with the money God has provided and don't buy that car we can't afford, when we don't boast in our own ability or talents because we understand those resources
came from our Creator, when we choose to look away, when we smile at strangers, when we open doors, when we are patient... that is when we worship in spirit! And that is why we sing worship everywhere.
