according to the computer models used to show that warming is controlled with minor gases FIRST MUST CONCEDE THAT NO TEMP CHANGES IN PAST HISTORY OCCURED.
it is the only way that the modeling used shows global warming.
that is why it has been refered to as the 'hockey stick' model. IT MAKES NO SENCE AND YET WITHOUT IT THERE IS NO GLOBAL WARMING.
find something else or go put your head back in the sand.
i pulled up all the sources which were availible in order to prove him wrong and instead ended up changing my own mind.
all of the temp changes which have occured are WELL within normal variation.
we are talking about agw not what we already know is occuring in nature.
temp records go back over a hundred years so if your argument is valid it should be easy.
and, actually, the last major climate event that has taken place, from a historical perspective, has been an ice age. it would make sence that we should be looking at a slight ongoing temp increase.
between ice ages we know plants grew in areas much closer to the poles than they do now. it would follow that temps were higher. earth survived then, it will now.
This suggests you're open-minded. Well, if that is really the case, check out these websites:
I'll try sending it to you directly, ok?
No-one is (as far as I know) suggesting the earth won't survive. The point is that the climate will change so much so raplidly, and become so unstable, that it will adversely affect human living conditions as well as those of many other species.
