This is the one off the record, almost identical to the original. It's by far my favourite version - too many of the live versions were meandering and uninspired. I think this guitar solo is the closest to rock perfection I'll ever hear.

No, I'm playing it. It's slightly different in parts, just listen carefully. There's a slight lag between the visual and the sound though - that might be confusing you. This lag happened in Windows Movie Maker, which I used to add the titles etc. The video was shot in my guitar room with my Nokia N95 phone.

Sure. The amp is a Roland Cube 60W. I'm using the onboard heavy metal amp modulation (sounds like it would be the wrong setting, but I turned down the overdrive and got this, the sound I was after). Other than that, I'm using a bit of the onboard delay as well, for a bit of depth. Been playing this song for 27 years, and just realised I'm making a mistake - namely the slide up at 0:39 is wrong, it should be played a string higher and 5 frets up. Whatever.

Incredible playing no doubt. I'm gonna get thumbs down for saying this but in my opinion gibson is WAYYY overrated for their overpriced stuff. Anyway great job.

I would imagine that it would be fairly worth it. The Les Paul Supreme is probably one of the most beautiful guitars out there, in my opinion.
