I knew where my money was going. The problem was that the man flat out lied about how much it was going to affect my taxes. The reason he lied was so that he could make a sale. It would have been wise for me to talk to a professional before making a decision. But guess what? That's exactly what I was doing: talking to a professional real estate agent who was supposedly working for me. And he lied. Besides which, just because I could have avoided the con doesn't mean it wasn't a con.

They are stuck working 2 to 3 jobs because they are single parents, or uneducated people. They were probably sluts in school or to busy drinking, rather than becoming a person with some intelligence.

Boycott rental housing! I am a licensed California real estate agent since July 2006. After learning the ins and outs of the 'biz' I am thoroughly disillusioned. Talk about taxation? What do you call the cost of living? Is this not a grievous burden? Namely housing costs. When a reasonable minimum wage was established, it was not tied into COLAS (cost of living adjustments). If it had been, we never would've had these problems; it was PURE EVIL GENIUS. Collapse the housing industry! Boycott!

Im not sure the whole story is being told, foreclosure isnt just a one day, no warning deal, you have warning signs, letters, and the like at the least a 30 day notice.. wouldn't one prepare to move during this time?.. the lady says she has lots of grand kids..where is her family in her hour of need? this story doesnt add up
