Well, I've had a couple of requests for a video where Jose Gonzalez's "Heartbeats" is played slowly, and so here it is. Please note: Jose Gonzales tends to change the way he plays the song everytime he does a recording of it. It's never exactly the same, to the note, as he plays it very organical
ly. This video shows the basic structure that (I think) he uses. Sometimes there are notes added or taken away in the song, but this is basically it. I have the capo on fret 2 for this recording. The strings are tuned to (without the capo): D-A-D-F#-B-E If you look at my other video and/or tabs o
nline, you should be able to figure the rest out. I may create a tab of my version later on. When he starts singing, theres a variation in the finger picking, which is shown in this video (the 3rd and 4th bars at the beginning of the vid). Anyway, I hope this helps. Peace.
