| It is not a normal takeoff. It is illegal not to leave room for a rejected takeoff. He was able to make it at the 1000 foot mark, on an extremely short runway, so is not too bad. |

| Thats Hurn Airport or Bournemouth International as its called these days. I believe this was the first 747 to take off from Hurn. Concorde also flew from here occasionly. |
