this was the wrst part of the entire movie. The CGI blood was a disgrace to what a great movie the rest of it was. I wish they would have put the opening song (from the play) in there. I would have thought that Tim Burton could think of a better way to kill three minuets than watching paint drip through London. He should have kept in the part about poking out the birds eyes too.

This movie is really awesome! I am a fan of Tim Burton and Musical theatre. I saw this in the theatre last year with my parents, beacause I couldn't go alone do to my age. Being only 13 at the time. It didn't really scare me, it just made me feel disgusted with all the blood.

The blood is not 'fake' persay. it's stylized. Plain and simple. Think about it; what if all that gore in ST had been realistic? Yuck. And yeah I'm a huge nerd for analyzing this, but the blood was also obviously a symbol. Symbolizing revenge, it's the only bright color in the movie (except for in the flashbacks of course). *spoiler alert* It has consumed Todd's life; you'll notice that everything down to his hair is colorless, until he is covered in Turpin's blood at the end. Don't judge me :)

I am 12 and I love this movie and the play. Tim Burton rocks and I saw the trailer and i was like o_o NEW TIM BURTON FILM AWESOME!!! also I took my mom to see it. We never heard of Sweeney todd before and we loved it. I was a little squeamish. I was 11. But it's awesome!

Its not Tim Burton's ending. Its Stephen Sondheim's ending. The ending is just faithful to the play (although the play isn't quite as dark) but what do you expect from Burton?
