What is amazing is that they somehow programed the projector to follow the globe. Madame Leota used to have internal projection but they changed it to external a while back.

I always loved this effect but i always wondered how they made it a 3D effect! Does anyone know how they do that to see her differently from different sides?

well to make it 3d they actually have almost like a dummy head inside but its mouth moves and the projecter goes around the form of the head

Yeah okay.... LOL! They have the projection following the crystal ball, its often off so part of leotas face is on the wall behind her. they will NEVER be able to project from inside her lol.

but one time in WDW they did it from the inside, an it looks bad so they did wat u said but the one in paris is still from the head, thats why her face looks so ehh

er...I believe since its a 2-D image being pojected onto a 3-D modle of a head, and since it can wrap itself around the modle of the head, it looks as if it was a real head.
