damn shit, these songs rock out. but nothing can top fight like a brave! dave and john are so great, one of the best guiatrists ever, but hillel is a legend. flea's bass was so crazy in the 80's. but i think with blood sugar sex magic his bass got so different.

Hille was the best because he invented this music that john studied and only because hillel died was john able to take his place. If john didnt exsist the band would of sounded so dif that they might have failed. Do you know that one hot minute hasnt sold enough to even make money back.

as much as i love jane's addiction (my fave band), i think they are hugely to blame for the downfall of the chillis. janes was a huge influence on john and flea. i get the feeling they wanted to be the funk rock version of janes, but they overshot and turned into soft rock with traces of funk left

ok, the chili peppers were around way before janes addiction playing the funky shit they did back then. if anything janes addiction coppied elements of them, and who ever said the chili`s were on a downfall? thats whats good about the chili`s they fly between different genres so they don`t become stale and old after awhile
