(To give you more of a clue: If you're not Australian, chances are that you "have a really stange accent" to me too, as all the world is different.) ~ But hey, thanks for letting me know, I feel very special now:)

Amsn is the program for linux. It is essentially a MSN clone for linux, and it works on Windows as well so you can give it a go to see how you like it.

you can use amsn, if you want to have webcam/voice conversations on the msn network, or for text only conversations, you can use pidgin, which comes stock with the eeepc

I can't see why not! I'vew used it in Skype so you should be able to use it in Yahoo, or whatever other program you want. As long as you use Windows you should be fine. (the BT adapter won't work in Linux).
