I'm not sure that thing could take hits and survive. And sending a team of them against one guy with a rifle with no scope is no test. However it might point to a nice way to get support weapons into confined spaces like in urban combat - still they'll probly need to put armor on it and counter things like spray paint on the cameras.

waste of money for armor. cut a wire, shatter the cameras, snap the antennae...goodbye robot. a self destruct would be nice though, in case it's going to fall into the hands of the opposition.

It's designed for urban combat. If you were a soldier and you had to cross a street full of hiden enemies, you'll love this thing. And if you see a litter bin with a machinegun atached to ir closing to you, you'll be screwedXD

a good marksman can hit the cameras in the robot and u just gave the enemy a weapon, and if an army come 1 simple answer a 3 feet wall will stop the mofo and, did he just say powerful M249 MG?, cmon that motherfucker jams left and right, this things could work really good but theyll need close infantry support

Agreed, One of those things in a Infantry or Scout Platoon, gives them high level of firepower. Plus a imposing look to any possible looters/Rioters in city areas, I mean imagine 2 to 15 men and 1 to 3 of these things armed with SAW's and armored, it would be very imposing to avoid at all times

I'm sure if a sniper could see the camera, the camera could see the sniper. I wouldn't want to take my chances against this thing. I would bet on the robot vs a human. Satellite controlled M249s, would be a hacker's wettest dream.
