Dude, I'm a musician and I only barely followed you. You should go outside, take a walk, enjoy the air, clear your mind, gain some perspective, and then come back in and enjoy the music. You're overthinking this (and a great many things also, I shouldn't doubt). It's music, not a math problem. btw, watch my videos, lol

While a genius Howe was never amazing at keeping tempo and isn't that uncommon for him. Also, Leohare- if you don't understand then you probably aren't a musician, mindlessly playing notes doesn't make you a musician

Well stated, but slamming my boy How, is unconscienable. Have you ever tried to play along with the live version of Siberian?
It is very difficult but trust me it is not Howes problem that they like to "rubato" here and there. Domo Arigato Mr. Rubato, lol.

typo on Howe, Yeah i relistened, and Steve is playing just a little slower than the rest of the band, shit I hate it when someone else is right, lol. Cheers! Now can we all just sit back and listen and stop criticizing?

Well, it's not ... ( 2 weeks ago by ProgRockNerd)
Well, it's not EXACTLY Yes--it's the "power trio" of Chris, Steve, and Alan, plus "understudies" on lead vox and keys (Rick's son Oliver, actually), owing essentially to health issues from Jon and Rick. Still getting good reviews, though.

Damn... this has always been one of my favorite Yes tunes. A bit underrated, I think. A great way to end an album! What is a (are?) khatru, anyway?

chefjfuzz, I saw this too, in 1979, but in Madison Square Garden in NYC, "in the round"...wish I was back there again, a sophomore in high school.
jtonessimo, they ALWAYS open with this song, see Yessongs, it's not a Yes show without it!
Saw them last ... ( 1 week ago by stealth469)
Saw them last night. If you have any doubts about going to this current show lose them. They wer super tight and Benoit David pulled of the vocals with flying colors. Ricks son was right on. Dont miss this possibly last chance to see these guys.Steve Howe is tight as ever regardless of his current resemblance to the crypt keeper. Dont miss it
OMG I was there! I ... ( 9 hours ago by Christo355)
OMG I was there! I was 17, senior in HS, and it was the first YES concert for me, at the old Spectrum in Philly. I also saw Tull there the same month I think. At the time we thought they were gods. They always deliver the songs live as perfect as the studio. I can almost smell the thick clouds of weed smoke...
