| Spammy only got a #1 album with VH because he was riding all the momentum that Dave & Eddie created with the PHENOMENAL success of "1984" (10 million+ sold and counting)....and "1984" would have been a #1 album if not for that fact that it was up against Michael Jackson's "Thriller" - the BIGGEST SELLING ALBUM IN WORLD HISTORY. Spambo spent too many years trying to convince people he had a right to front Van Halen, and he was always wrong. A no-talent tequila salesman HAS NO RIGHT to front the greatest American rock band! | David Lee Roth isn't the only reason that Van Halen is awesome, all he did was write lyrics to Eddie's music and sing them. I love listening to Sammy and Dave but Dave isn't the only reason that van halen is what they are now. |

| You obviously are too young to remember the glorious David Lee Roth era of Van Halen.....all I can say is that it kicked ass on many levels.....people would wet their pants waiting in line for their concert tickets.....you never got that with Van Hagar.....that was faggy music for lame queers......read some old Rolling Stone articles.....VH with Dave changed the face of modern rock music forever.....simply put, VH never would have made it big without Dave out front. |

| How is this music for lame queers? It's still Eddie, Alex, and Mike but Dave is gone. And i know how awesome Dave is, i saw them live last october and Dave was amazing but why are you holding a grudge against all of Sammy's work? And it's mostly Ed that changed rock forever, no one ever thought like Ed does when it comes to guitar. |

| Yes, I know Eddie is awesome and he changed rock guitar forever....but too many people forget how awesome of a frontman David Lee Roth was....back in the early days, he ruled the rock scene....and let's be honest....without Dave, VH would have been far less popular than they were.....they would have been like Joe Satriani - a great musician, but not much of a rock band without the showmanship, catchy melodies, humor, and pizzazz that Dave brought to the table. Give Dave his due....he earned it. |
