This Valentines Day, lovers in India can treat their beloved ones to a unique ride in a specially designed car. Created by well-known Indian car designer Sudhakar Yadav in southern Hyderabad, the "Valentines Car" as it is called, is sure to be a hit with love birds.
STORY: Designed in the shape of a coffee mug, the car is attractively decorated with roses and hearts all over, embodying the spirit of the festival of love. It won the test-drivers over in a heart beat. [Danish, Valentine Car Test Driver]: "It's so nice to have something so special and somethin
g so unique on Valentines Day to enjoy with your valentine. This is a very comfortable car. I really liked driving it and it was awesome, it was a very good experience." [Sudhakar Yadav, Car Designer]: "It took me four months to design this car. It was mainly the flowers which took a lot of time. E
verything is custom made. The engine is 100 cc and it is a two seater car with complete suspension, and headlight, parking indicator lights, complete functioning of any other regular car. It can drive at 40-45 kilometres speed with two people sitting in it." Sudhakar has designed vehicles in the sh
ape of a cricket bat, a football, a Chinese pagoda. In the pipeline are cars in the shape of a handbag, lipstick, necklace, and even a stiletto.
