Meet Mark (Andrew Licaros) and Anne (Kara Mendoza). They are the type of friends who are only so because they find their differences amusing.Theirs is a friendship of sorts, sometimes more, sometimes less, effectively blurring the line between.
On the night of Anne's 18th birthday party, Mark, in a stream of arrogant consciousness, decides to end his life. Anne, being her playful self, vehemently tries to talk him out of it. Their story is that of cowardice, of selfishness and of youthful escapism. Set in the convergence of dusk and eve
ning, Pinky Swear realistically explores the ironic subtlety of a night that changes the lives of two friends forever. It is a night that captures the bubble between life and death. Ultimately however, Pinky Swear is a film that unapologetically portrays the heartbreaking invincibility of this gener
ation and its probable consequences.
