i liked the way the league of gentlemen was doing well and becoming fairly "mainstream" so they killed off the two main characters and made the last series much darker, ditched the canned laughter and alienated the more mainstream viewers... that took guts... not like little britain who chose to go the opposite way and bleed things catchphrases dry etc
