AHAHAH are you for real? because im a golfer, and i do much more than golf and when you describe golf like thatof course it sounds stupid, basket ball... throw a big ball in a hoop, soccer - kick a ball into a net, football - catch a ball and run- ALL SPORTS SOUND GAY but they're all fun. and only because you cant get that little ball in the hole is why your opinion on the sport is so negative.

Golf is not a sport. Obese people play it so how can it be a sport? It's a way for yuppies to network in "nature", which to them means nicely manicured grass, perfect trees and fake lakes. Meanwhile water is wasted keeping up appearances especially in golf courses in desert areas. It's all an illusion, a great big plastic palm tree.

Obese people actually have an advantage in golf. Having said that,you make a valid point on water usage. I've worked on a golf course in a town with some of the purest drinking water in the world, and we used to use more water in a day just washing our machines than some african villages would see in a year.
