actually, a lion would win in a abttle with a siberian. i`ve seen many fights, and most were won by the lion. and, contrary to popular belief, tigers aren`t bigger than lions, and studies by dale show that the average siberian male weighs about 176-185 kg, although he gives 195 kg as an average for well fed males.
baikov puts siberians at 160-200 kg in weight, about equal to that of lions. lions have that protective mane, and they are more ferocious.

no, a lion would win, though about 55% of the time. famous animal trainer clyde beatty, can contest to the lions more combative nature, and, according to clyde, they would win in a fight against a tiger. in the documentary 'the big cage' he documents a fight between a lion and tiger which ended in the tiger`s demise.
however, they are both awesome creatures, and, while i don`t enjoy seeing them fight, i do think it`s interesting.
