At 2:59 you see masonic symbols: 2 black downward pointed equilateral triangles. The theme is chaos and anarchy. The Illuminati love "ordo ab chao", order out of chaos. The Simpsons creator, a 33rd degree Freemason, is an anarchist, he also preaches such themes in his movies, to incite anarchy/chaos. They want you to engage in anti-social behavior like screaming out of a window and watching this propaganda, rather than earnestly researching for the truth covered-up by their media and films.

With all due respect, I disagree. Anarchy is exactly what the Illuminati doesn't want. The word "anarchy", used correctly, doesn't mean chaos. It only means absence of government. How could a cadre of megalomaniacs bent on enslaving the populace with a continual psyops campaign designed to prove how "indispensable" they are possibly benefit from the public's swift realization that government is an unnecessary and arbitrary force? This doesn't make any sense to me.

Certainly inspired some guy with a beef against his contractor - he put up a plackard in front of his house reading, "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!" My brother and I made funny comments about that one while we were riding to Wasaga Beach with our parents back in the day - within their earshot. (We weren't little angels back in the early 1980s - a few years after this gem of a movie was released.) Love it, love it, love it!

RationalDischarge, please research about Discordianism.
There is no such thing as no government, just like utopia is greek for "no place." The only examples of something close to anarchy are the naked tribes of Africa that live in the jungles.

But it certainly worked here - the "I'm as mad as hell" line ranks as one of the greatest movie moments in popular film history.

I'm certainly not in favor of Discordianism, but linking it to Anarchism, especially the self-regulating Market Anarchy of say, Murray Rothbard strikes me as less than accurate. There's a reason that an Anarchist society has never existed alongside a First World economy, which is that, along with the technocratic means of psychological control comes more and more economic control for government, e.g. when a misguided public can be conned into demanding things like natl. healthcare and REAL ID.

This film should be re-made so that younger generations can be exposed and hopefully latch on to this message. With Americans being ass-raped by oil companies, paying high grocery bills, being robbed of our tax dollars to fund a war waged under false pretenses among other things, Howard Beale's voice is needed now more than ever before

I like George Clooney, but I don't want him to make another version of this movie. You can't improve on a classic - and, by the way, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Amazing, this movie was done over 30 years ago, and this scene is more relevant now than it was then. Brilliant. Peter Finch died not long after Network was made, but his role as Howard Beale has stood the test of time.
